pre-treatment care
A) Stop application of any scalp oil/serum/solution for hair conditions atleast 2 days prior to the procedure.
B) Inform the doctor if you are taking any kind of blood thinning drugs and immunity compromising drugs.
C) Inform the doctor about history of any skin conditions like psoriais, Lichen etc or skin infections like Herpes, etc before the procedure.
D) Do not shave the head before the procedure as this may create confusions in the planning of SMP procedure.
Post-treatment care
A) Do not wash you head for atleast 24 hours after the procedure.
B) Apply the cream or lotions provided to the treated area and take the oral medications given.
C) Use a wide brimmed hat or cap or scarf to protect the treated area from harmful sun rays for atleast 3-5 days.
D) Avoid application of any type of oil/solution/lotion apart from the ones prescibed for atleast a week.
